Would you like to be able to name the trees you are looking at? This workshop is for beginners, both adults and children, to learn to identify some tree species and find out a bit about them. This is a great time of year to pick up the different leaves and fruits of the trees at the Croft Close Nature Reserve. Since they are rooted to the spot, you can always come back later and see the trees you have learnt to recognise.
This workshop is ideal for families with children between 6 and 11 years old - you can have fun learning together and help each other to remember what you have learnt! Children must be accompanied by an adult. The ground is unsuitable for pushchairs. Unaccompanied adults and older children are welcome. No dogs, please.
The event will be free to attend, but donations to the charity are welcome.
Places are limited, so booking is essential. To book places, please email sitemanagers@abbeyfields.online saying how many adults and children would like to attend.
