Mistletoe

We asked for your help in locating mistletoe around the villages. We have now identified around 440 mistletoe plants (balls) in 83 trees and are pretty certain that the parts of the village showing no mistletoe genuinely do not have any. Of course, we don’t know why there is no mistletoe in these areas.

Lime is the most common host tree here.

Click on any dot on the map to find out how many mistletoe plants there are on the tree and what species of tree it is. You can zoom in and out for more detail.

If you know of more mistletoe that is not shown on the map please do send us the details to sitemanagers@abbeyfields.online.
